A smarter way to track ovulation.

Embry is a cycle tracking app for couples trying to conceive (TTC). It helps you understand your cycle and ovulation in real time and stay aligned with your partner on what to do next.

The TTC journey can feel uncertain, with so much out of your control, you're never quite sure if you're doing the right thing at the right time. Embry is built to reduce that uncertainty and share the mental load with your partner.

What makes Embry different

Real-time ovulation estimation

Surfacing real time ovulation insights as you enter new data.

Embry uses a Bayesian Inference model to estimate your ovulation. We are working on how to visualize the outputs of a model like this in a way that helps you understand how confident it is about its estimation.

Partner access

Building what “Partner mode” looks like.

Configuring secure backend connections between you and your partner — what they see, what they can log on your behalf, and how consent is granted, paused, and revoked. The shape of being in this together, without surveillance.

How it works

Use Embry like a normal app — no download required.

Open a link, add it to your home screen, and use it like any other app. During the beta, Embry will be a web app only. Embry will be launched in the App Store at the end of the beta.

Privacy & security

Your privacy is a core priority — beta or not.

Embry is built so your data stays private forever. It is encrypted such that no one but you or your partner will ever be able to see it (even Embry employees) and it can never be sold to a third party. At any time you can choose to ‘cryptoshred’ your data, which means your personal encryption key will be deleted and your data becomes permanently unrecoverable.

What's protected

Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and at rest with a key tied to your account.
Data minimum
We only collect what you choose to share. Nothing about your cycle is inferred from elsewhere on your device.
No tracking
No background tracking. The app runs only when open, and does nothing when it isn't.
